Experiencing all God is through the Names we use.

Beloved Saints of God, I heard a pray-er who used this name of God ---“You, O God, are the Sum of All Creative Powers” which made me stop and repeat it over and again in my mind. As part of my praying, I repeated the address and added a sentence of gratitude for whatever came to mind that God alone created. My soul was lifted with each sentence, each detailed reminder of God being the source of all creation. My soul was filled.
Though I often use the same attribute of God in most of my prayers, I felt it was the Holy Spirit who invited me to let go of my comfortable, familiar ways of addressing God in prayer. I have just begun this practice, and have yet to capture others that remind me of Who God is:
“You who prop us up on every leaning side..”
“God, Giver of wonder…”
“Source of Peace when enemies draw near…”
Please feel free to try this for yourself. Please share the addresses that stick with you or surprise you to think of God in a certain way.
Together we serve the God who never ceases to accompany and encourage.

Maker of the Church, help us demonstrate being the Church of Love and Unearned Abundance.
