Our congregation began in 1966 to worship God together through prayer and music. We encourage each other, serve God actively and faithfully, follow in the way of Jesus Christ and lean heavily upon God’s Holy Spirit.
In the 1980s, it became clear that the needs of the church and the needs of the community are inseparable. A new vision began to emerge, calling for a combination of meaningful worship and purposeful social outreach. The dream of Hope was to become a church who used expertise of social agencies to enhance the church’s emphasis on providing sanctuary, peace and God’s unconditional love.
