Our Prayer Ministry

Our Prayer Ministry
Prayer is vital part of Worship and the life of the Hope. It is reflected in our Worship services, our meetings, our bible studies, our prayer chain and our weekly prayer list. As a community of faith and prayer we are always here to pray for you.
Prayer Requests:
“Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give your rest.” Matthew 11:28

We have a dedicated group of people willing to pray for you through our prayer chain. Be assured, prayer requests are confidential unless otherwise noted. We believe our prayers, through Christ, have the power to change lives, heal brokenness, and comfort troubled souls.

Prayer Requests may be made by email, calling the office or during Sunday worship:
Email: [email protected]
Office Phone: 217-546-6951

Our Weekly Prayer List

Every week a prayer list goes out to the congregation with:
  • Prayers of Thanksgiving, Praise & Wow!
  • Prayer Requests of the Community, Friends & Family
  • Prayers for those who need Comfort and Grieving
  • Prayers for Our church family – each week three different church families are prayed for
  • Prayers for the needs of our Presbytery sister churches
A Word About Personal Prayer
Prayer is a conversation with God. Just like our conversations with each other our prayers do not have to be formal.
Prayer brings us into a relationship with God.  From a “Thank you God” to a “I need your help”, in our happy moments and our sad moments He is always ready to be there for you.
Prayer gives us strength and hope through the hard times we may be going through.
Prayers of Thanksgiving and of praise are are not only thanking God for the blessings but also inviting God to celebrate with us in those joyful moments of life.
Prayers for Guidance when we are not sure which direction we should go. Know that God is always there to guide us and teach us.
