A Walk Through Our Service
We Gather as God’s people with Music, Praise, & Thanksgiving
Come, let us worship our God, for there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Parent of all, who is above all and through all and in all. We come with humility, gentleness, and patience. We come bearing with one another in love. We are here to worship God!
We Confess our need for God’s saving grace, remembering all He gave us in Jesus Christ, and receive His forgiveness as we open ourselves to hear His words to us.
Prayer of Confession
Merciful God, we confess that we have not lived as your faithful children. We have been angry with the world and nursed grudges against our adversaries. We have hoarded the fruits of our labors rather than share our bounty with the needy. We have not built up our neighbors with words of kindness but have indulged in evil gossip. We have not forgiven the wrongs others have done, even though we desire your forgiveness toward us in Jesus Christ. (Let us pause in silence for reflection and personal confession) In unison, Forgive us and by your grace, help us to grow in every way into him who is our head, Jesus Christ. Amen.
We Are Forgiven and Loved by God as we remember our own baptism.
Responsive Hymn#582 “Glory to God, Whose Goodness Shines on Me”
Glory to God, whose goodness shines on me, and to the Son, whose grace has pardoned me, and to the Spirit, whose love has set me free. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.

We Give Thanks through our offering; returning to God a portion of all he has given us.
The God of abundance provides enough for all. In gratitude we acknowledge that all we are and all we have are gifts. Each of us has been given grace according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Let us return a measure of what has already been given to us.
Prayer of Dedication: We rejoice with thanksgiving for all we have received. Multiply these gifts that we give so that the world may more deeply know the fullness of life in you. Amen.
Song of Gratitude #607 “Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow”
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; praise Christ, all people here below; praise Holy Spirit evermore; praise Triune God, whom we adore. Amen.
I Invite you to give thanks and gratitude to God for the many ways God has brought you this far by faith and is leading you by grace to a lasting Hope in Jesus Christ our Lord, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We Listen for God’s Word through, Children’s time, scripture reading, and scripture based sermons. O' God prepare our hearts and minds for the reading of your word. Pour out your Spirit upon us that we might hear your message to us this day. In the hearing, may we take the message to those around us. In Jesus' precious name, Amen. |
We Respond to the Word, affirming our beliefs, sharing our joys, concerns, prayers and with song.
Apostles’ Creed - Let us say together what we believe using the Apostles’ Creed. People of God, what do you believe?
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy [universal] church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
We Share our Joys and Concerns; Praying for the needs of all.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who is in Heaven, Holy is Your name. May Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us away from temptation, and deliver us from evil. For Yours are the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Hymn #765 “May the God of Hope Go with Us”
May the God of hope go with us every day, filling all our lives with love and joy and peace. May the God of justice speed us on our way, bringing light and hope to every land and race. Praying, let us work for peace; singing, share our joy with all; working for a world that’s new, faithful when we hear Christ’s call.
Final Benediction and Blessing:
As we go from this place, may God bless you and keep you. May God’s face be made to shine on you and in you and through you. May God look upon you with favor and grant you grace and peace and light and more love than you can possibly keep to yourself. Now my friends, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit let us now go be the church.
