Ash Wednesday Evening Service February 18th at 7pm
Our Lent Season begins -
Lent is a season of the church in which we tend to our spiritual life. Some people give up habits or take on habits in preparation for Holy Week and the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Each Lent is a journey. Our journey begins with ashes as a reminder of our mortality. Then we move along with the Son of God to witness God’s love, grace and peace to the finality of death on the cross, burial in the tomb, and new life on Resurrection Day. May God inhabit our lives and teach us how to Pause, Breathe, and give thanks to God for new life!

February's Featured Ministry:
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA)
PDA is the emergency and refugee program of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. PDA responds to natural and human-caused disasters around the world by providing immediate and long-term support. We empower communities to take ownership of their response to the disaster by offering training and guidance, financial support, capacity-building and more. In the U.S., we work through mid councils; internationally, we partner with grassroots, community-led organizations, Presbyterian partners or members of ACT Alliance.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Monthly Offering
On the first Sunday of the month this globe is set out to collect donations for PDA. Through PDA, Hope is enabled to participate in the global mission and witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crises and catastrophic events.
