About Hope Presbyterian
In the 1980s, it became clear that the needs of the church and the needs of the community are inseparable. A new vision began to emerge, calling for a combination of meaningful worship and purposeful social outreach. The dream of Hope was to become a church who used expertise of social agencies to enhance the church’s emphasis on providing sanctuary, peace and God’s unconditional love.
What we Believe
One thing is certain: God is at work among us as we strive to follow Christ. For our congregation, these things are essential:
- hope-filled worship that gives us courage to persevere in hard times
- being in community with one another and treating everyone with dignity and respect
- commitment to Christ's call to action by sharing what we have and caring for others
- stepping out in faith to demonstrate our passion for sharing God's love
We also believe in audience participation during the children's message!
